UltraStart™/Rational Software Quality program offering provides a packaged set of consulting services to quickly implement a fundamental Rational Software Quality environment. UltraStart™ solutions in this area are aimed at helping our customers deploy automated testing solutions within their IT organization, guiding them towards more effective planning of their testing activities, and possibly assisting them in performing and analyzing the tests. The quality management tasks of testing and deployment management are deeply intertwined with the Change and Configuration Management disciplines. Ultramatics aids your organization in ensuring test coverage, support and deployment. It is delivered by our Certified Rational consultants - all of who have an extensive background in Rational - to solve your unique problems. The diverse set of activities includes:

• Using Test Manager to manage and direct tests, Ultramatics will show you how to provide status of testing under consideration, along with a firm foundation by ensuring that tests planned match the approved and managed requirements.
• Integrate and streamline the Test Manager projects with ClearQuest to provide tracing of defects using test script.
• Review the testing resource productivity and improve performance by creating appropriate regression-based and other automation scripts using IBM Rational Robot or IBM Functional Tester.
• Assist in planning, designing, and implementing test plans in an iterative fashion based on RUP process Assist in defining quality metrics and configure your IBM Rational tools to capture the appropriate data to report those metrics.
