UltraStart Business Solutions UltraStart™ - Rational Design and Construction Service Overview
UltraStart™/RDC program offering provides a packaged set of consulting services to quickly implement a Rational Design and Construction discipline. UltraStart™ solutions in this area are aimed at helping our customers effectively deploy and use IBM Rational software architecture, modelling and development tools, guiding them in the design and construction of robust, resilient, component-oriented architectures. It is delivered by our Certified Rational consultants - all of who have an extensive background in Rational Software Development Process - to solve your unique problems. Ultramatics works with your organization to apply these techniques in a mature iterative fashion with strong configuration management and change management provided by ClearCase and ClearQuest. The diverse set of activities includes:

• Provide a clear end-to-end pathway from business modeling to requirement management to analysis and design to implementation to testing to deployment using the development language of your choice.
• Develop Use-case realizations in UML to demonstrate how the classes collaborate and interact in component based architecture. These are linked back to requirements in RequisitePro (if required).
• Modeling detailed architectural design in UML so that the solution vision is well understood and appropriately interpreted by the technical team and how key mechanisms will be supported in the implementation environment of your choice.
• Synthesize the two modeling aspects - the business behavioral analysis model and the architectural design model -to create a consistent object-oriented design that can be verified as supporting the behavioral requirements and the non-functional constraints and other architectural forces.
• Assist our customers in applying these modeling techniques using either IBM Rational Rose XDE Developer or the IBM Rational Software Development Platform.
